Happy New Year

Even though it’s just another day on the calendar, the New Year is often a time for self-reflection, introspection, and change. An opportunity to start fresh with joy and anticipation of the new day…

That said, Happy New Year, dear church! We rejoice in the past of 2024 and all God did with us and through us and look forward in joyful anticipation to what the Lord can do with us in 2025.

But let’s not complicate things. Let’s keep it simple and make 2025 our best year yet.

  1. Let’s love the Lord more! More time in the word, more time in prayer, more consecration, more natural affection toward the one who bled and died for us, more about Jesus! As a relationship grows in time, it should grow in depth and emotion. Don’t you love your wife more today than on your wedding day? Well, you should! Don’t you love the Saviour more today than when you got saved? Well…you should! Let’s resolve to make it so in 2025!

  2. Let’s love each other more! More laboring together, more exhorting one another, more fellowship in the gospel, more assembling as we see the day approaching, more charity one toward another! Jesus Christ said our love toward each other would be a testimony of our love for Him. A family should desire to spend time together, not isolated and going their own ways. Are you in the family of God? You should endeavor to spend more time with the family and grow in grace and knowledge together. Let’s get more knit together in love in 2025.

Happy New Year, church, and may the Lord be glorified in us in 2025 like He’s never been before!

And he that sat upon the throne said,

Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
